The group engages in active research in two major areas - the development of biopharmaceuticals and the development of alternative-to-animal models for preclinical research. Since its inception, the research group has been dedicated to providing training to promote research in the aforementioned domains. NRG believes that skilled human capital is the key to an innovative tomorrow. To that end, over the past 7 years, the group has successfully trained more than 3000 students and professionals.
Its flagship event, the Biologics Workshop, previously called the Biosimilar Workshop, is one of the largest gatherings of Biopharmaceutical Researchers in India. In its 4th year, the workshop was organized to promote the participation of professionals from industry, academia, and start-ups. The scientific programs included a wide range of topics within the biopharmaceutical product development domain.
